I'm very happy that my work is selling on eBay. Rainbow & Sunshine sold this past Tuesday, they had over 500 hits and 31 watchers by the end. I have Sugarpie listed now, with two bids so far, and today the listing made it to Pulse eBay's top 10 most watched in each category! Since the category is predominantly bears and dogs I feel that's quite an accomplishment. I added a picture of the take-out container to the listing to further promote the whole "Hugs-To-Go" concept and show what the winning bidder will get. With new pictures of future animals I'll have pics of the animal with the container.
I placed "Hugs-To-Go © 2007 Holly-Noelle Originals" at the bottom of Sugarpie's collage, I'm just sooo professional! LOL I decided I needed to do this now to establish that it's my original concept even though the wording was suggested by a good friend when I was asking about the Pandas in a box.
I still haven't decided what to do about the COAs, I like the size they are and making them smaller will be a pain in cutting them to size after printing. They do fit around the back of the container and the handle holds it in place, for packing that will work fine. After it reaches it's destination I guess I don't have to worry about it!
My Pandas in a box is another concept "Panda-To-Go" and that COA is an odd size I have a bit of trimming to get it to the correct size so I don't want to start that with ALL of them. In fact I was putting all of my efforts into the Panda idea when the Hugs idea was suggested and at first I didn't want to divide my energies. But they both have progressed and the Hugs are just ready for sale first. I'm hoping to get the Pandas going in the near future if the Hugs don't end up taking all of my time.
Up next week...Yin & Yang! They will be listed Tuesday night and sell as a pair. A pair of what you ask? Since I don't have pictures yet you'll have to wait and see! LOL

Rainbow & Sunshine on eBay
I received the heart and the paw boxes and they are working out well. The COA could be smaller to fit in the box, right now it's 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I could fold it too but I don't want to do that, I think it takes away from the look if it has a crease down the center. I may make them a size to fit in the box with the animals.
Here's one of the Hugs-To-Go animals that will be sent out in the take-out heart container. Her name is Sugarpie and she'll be up for auction soon, I need to get her pictures together in a collage and ready for a listing.

New carry boxes for my animals!

I thought it would be a good idea to get printed take-out boxes that would carry through the to-go theme better. The pandas are in clear ones with a liner I made for them, and I think ones with hearts will be good for the "Hugs-To-Go" animals. I've also decided to get ones with paw prints on them for dogs and cats I'll make that will wear a paw charm, to carry through with that theme. I have little paper boxes with hearts that will work for mini "Hugs" animals but so far the ones I've made have been too big for them! LOL

BW is on his way!
Well the bunny, Bigears, was shipped out today! he's going to live in Superior Wisconsin. I started another project and it's almost complete, I have to put the hooves on and shade them. The suggestion of a theme in a group was the Yin Yang sign so I went with that in needle felt. Big ears is a member of the Hug-To-Go Group and these will be too.

The Easter Bunny? Not exactly!
This is Bigears Wollentail, the first needle felted bunny I created and he just sold on eBay. He's the first of other big-footed, big-eared bunnies I plan to make. I've created other felted animals and started felting about a year ago. It's very rewarding to see a wad of fiber fill and a wad of wool, a couple of beads and other assorted items turn into a character with a distinct personality.
I sculpt too and have created a few unicorns in the last couple of years along with other creatures. Most of my polymer clay sculpts and needle feltings are on my website at http://www.holly-noelle.com/archive.htm.
